Weezers self-titled debut (aka the Blue Album) posed the question: what would happen if a band combined the crunchy chords of Nirvana, the pop-rock tunefulness of the Beach Boys and the guitar heroics of six-string gods like Kiss and Van Halen? In Weezers hands, the result was a damn near perfect alt-rock album. From undeniable karaoke go-tos like Undone and Say It Aint So to an introvert anthem like In the Garage and the epicly sprawling eight-minute closer, its a record any guitar lover can enjoy.
