Description
US pressing for one of the most talked-about garage punk records in recent memory, the debut LP from Australia’s Royal Headache. What separates Royal Headache from the pack are the frontman’s unique (at least in the punk scene) soulful vocals, which people compared to classic 60s soul singers like Sam Cooke. The music is your basic, stripped-down, jangly ’77-influenced stuff, but the songwriting and powerful delivery rocket this firmly into the next level. What’s Your Rupture? Records
