AVATAR
Waylaid from the road by the ongoing pandemic, Avatar frontman Johannes Eckerstrm reflects on the value and technique of playing rock shows live onstage. In a captivating personal essay, he traces his evolution as a performer, all the way from one of his first shows as a kid to his current bands planned production for concerts in support of their new album, Hunter Gatherer. Music is food, concerts are feasts and we are starving, he writes. Im a restless chef with idle hands.
