Description
“Public Eye are a new outfit composed of the players from Portland punk mainstays Autistic Youth, only settled behind different instruments. On their debut five-song cassette “Mood Change Party”, Public Eye have swapped Autistic Youths dour swagger for a more rigid, wiry demeanor.”
– Sam Lefebvre, Impose Magazine
With Relaxing Favorites, their first LP, the band picks up where the tape left off and shells out 11 tracks of bitter, jittery post-punk. Think early Parquet Courts with a bit more frayed tension. Recorded & mixed by the band; mastered by Mike Kriebel, Relaxing Favorites deals with the confusion and mundanity of everyday life while keeping an overall sense of sheer displeasure.
