Description
Chicago’s Myutanto really hits their stride on their sophomore release, Castle Rock. This five-track album features the darker tones introduced on the electronic band’s first release, Myutiny. All the same, Castle Rock succeeds in redelivering their chilling music with sonically dynamic shifts and savory tempo changes. Songs like “Sewer Dweller” and “Catacomb” move at a slower pace, encapsulating a trudge through long-lost corridors, whereas tracks like “Castle Rock” provide an energetic breakbeat in the same vein as those on their debut release. This album is a must-have for anyone interested into any sort of darker electronic with a more menacing atmosphere.
