Description
RSD Essential 076 – 25th Anniversary pressing on purple and blue merge vinyl exclusive to RSD Essential participating stores. After enjoying worldwide success with their previous 5 classic albums, Morbid Angel had established themselves kings of the Death Metal genre with their revolutionary and unapologetic sound. In October 2000, Morbid Angel announced their return with Gateways of Annihilation. Showing no signs of selling out, the new opus may shock some with its slower pace to previous albums, but make no mistake, this is prime Morbid Angel. Churning riffs, guttural vocals and a raging production make this album the first meaningful Death Metal record of the millenium.
