Description
Before Mercurial World and Imaginal Disk made them icons of high-concept pop, Magdalena Bay were capturing imaginations with their quirky, charming mini songs. Originally released in 2019, these sub-two-minute bangers showcased Mica and Matts uncanny ability to compress pop brilliance, history, and hooks into irresistibly short bursts of sound.
Now compiled into one immaculately sequenced collection, Mini Mixes presents a beguiling prequel to Mag Bays risean early glimpse at the genre-warping ambition and melodic mastery that would soon define a new era of experimental pop.
A must-have for fans and newcomers alike, this release celebrates the duo’s roots while reminding us that sometimes, less really is more.
