Savage Hc Punk from Singapore, 2nd EP 7″, featuring members of VAARALLINEN, DAILY RITUAL, SARABANTE (Greece) & ABRASION!
Our take: Second 7″ from this hardcore band out of Singapore, and it’s another ripper. If you haven’t heard them before, Lubricant have a heavy, well-produced hardcore sound that walks the fine line between musical sophistication and knuckle-dragging thuggery. The overall vibe is quite similar to the Impalers (minus that band’s longer, more complex song structures and virtuosic lead playing), and I must admit that Lubricant’s riffs are nearly as catchy. If you’re into the type of hardcore coming out on the Beach Impediment label–particularly bands like Impalers and Warthog–I’d encourage you to check this band out.
