Description
KREMLIN KORPS were a short lived Philadelphia band that played with a lot of hc/punk legends (Scream, UK Subs, Toxic Reasons, Subhumans, Crucifix, Government Issue, TSOL, Agnostic Front, No Trend, DRI, White Cross, Adrenalin OD, Corrosion Of Conformity, Jerrys Kids, Iron Cross, Heart Attack,..) and left us a 4 song 7EP legacy.
At a time when female-fronted hardcore bands were nearly unheard of, Staceys powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence set them apart. But it was the bands nameKremlin Korpsthat really stirred the pot. With Cold War paranoia in full swing and Reagans America in a flag-waving frenzy, the name alone was enough to get them labeled commie pinko faggots by some regional critics. The band wore the insult like a badge of honor, doubling down with their 1984 EP Moscows Revenge, a middle finger to the eras chest-thumping nationalism.
The reissue comes in a revamped foldout cover with band biography, photos, lyrics and flyers.
