Microverse may be bite-sized in nature, but the five songs Jinjer crush through on their 2019 EP have left an indelible mark on modern metal. Then a decade into their career, the Ukrainian quartet drilled even further into progressive-djent texturing, jazz-fusion bass sliding, black storm cloud melodies and more. Vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk, meanwhile, puts on a masterclass performance of beastly growls and acrobatic melodies across Ape and Perennial. Explore the vastness of Jinjers Microverse now by giving it a spin on classic black wax.
