FRANK ZAPPA – BABY SNAKE MINI GUITAR

Description

The Baby Snakes SG was Zappas main guitar for the latter part of the Seventies. The guitar is not actually the model it resembles, but rather the creation of a guy in Phoenix, who made his way backstage and sold the guitar to Zappa for $500. Though its feel is a lot like the model it appears to be, closer inspection reveals details such as a 23rd fret and some nifty inlays and ornamental woodwork. Luthier/electronics maker Rex Boguethe man who Zappa also tasked to bring Hendrixs charred Miami Pop Festival Strat back to lifeadded various delights to this guitar, such as phase switches and an onboard preamp. Ornamental Miniature Replica Guitars Make Great Gifts! Each miniature replica guitar is 1:4 scale and is individually handcrafted from solid wood, with metal tuning keys. Each guitar model is approximately 10 in length and comes complete with a high-quality miniature adjustable A-frame stand and an AXE HEAVEN guitar case gift box.
