Description
First time reissue of the yellow cover variant! French anarcho-punks Berurier Noir formed in Paris in 1983, intended to implode after one sole gig, but this intense mask-wearing duo, featuring Loran on guitar, Franois on vocals and a drum machine named Dede caused pandemonium live, leading to distinctive LPs. Debut album Macadam Massacre captures the group at their rawest, their non-conformist format and confrontational lyrics chronicling the squats and HLMs on the peripheries of French society. Deliciously dark and with jagged edges galore, it will appeal to the bands cult followers and all those interested in cutting-edge European punk and post-punk.
