Description
Originally released in 1990, Warmaster cemented Bolt Thrower’s reputation for delivering incredibly heavy war-obsessed death metal, propelling the band to the top of the genre alongside contemporaries such as Napalm Death, Morbid Angel and Entombed. The cornerstone album is finally being reissued on vinyl, cut by engineer Noel Summerville who also made the original cut. It’s been specially remastered using ‘FDR’ – Full Dynamic Range mastering – allowing the music’s nuances to truly shine through. It results in a more ferocious and dynamic sound which enables the listener to immerse in the full audio heaviness like never before.
“1,000 times heavier and grittier than anything Slayer’s done.” – Decibel
“One of the most consistently crushing death metal bands of all time.” – Terrorizer
