Description
Blu Anxxiety’sdebut LP “PLAY DEAD” makes good on the promise of the band’s previous singles–catchy, frenetic dance beats underscore singer Chi Orengo’s dark freestyles against all forms of colonial occupation, the police state and the gentrifying of his lifelong home of New York City. An album that is as at home with labelmates L.O.T.I.O.N. as it would be on a shelf with Dead Prez, Lou Miami, or Christian Death. The LP contains nine tracks and insert and cover artwork by the band, all silk-screened and printed in New York.
