Description
Thirty eight years since its debut comes the only official vinyl reissue of this near-impossible-to-find single. One of thee most coveted NWOBHM records to date. Not for its rariety, but purely for its contribution to this monumental era of heavy metal. Popularized when covered by Metallica, this small piece of wax carries a lot of weight. Originally released as NEAT Records number 10, and now back as Splattereds 17th. We are incredibly proud to help keep this one alive for younger generations to come. Limited to 1000 copies. 700 on black vinyl and 300 on gold w/poster.
Our take: Reissue of this legendary New Wave of British Heavy Metal single, whose b-side Metallica famously covered on the b-side to their Creeping Death single. This is an undisputed classic of the style, so if you’re interested in the NWOBHM, this single is an essential grip. Its fast, heavy, catchy as all get-out, packed with classic riffs, and has that warm and murky sound that you love if youre an avid listener to British independent music of the late 70s. Splattered! Records has executed this reissue with all the care and attention to detail that we expect from them and the sound on the vinyl is excellent, so if this piques your interest, I cant imagine it’ll disappoint you.
