Description
I havent heard anything quite like this all year long and Ive listened to damn near a thousand different albums at this point, mostly good, some great, and a few, like Bask, get the nod as being magnificent. – Ripple Music, of BASKs previous album, American Hollow
From the band: With this album we collaborated more than ever and made a conscious effort to explore new textures and dynamics within our sound. To wander somewhere unfamiliar. To go further. To dream of home. We set out to make a record in motion. American Hollow was sedentary. It was a record about Appalachia. Ramble Beyond travels geographically from song to song. It shifts in concept from side A to side B. It moves between time, space and sound one verse at a time.
RAMBLE BEYOND is a true sonic adventure, sailing powerfully from massive Mastodon-esque movements to the rhythmic southern lilts of Skynyrd, even conquering the depths of Sleep and classic Alice in Chains.
Produced / Engineered by Travis Kammeyer (Inter Arma) at Fahrenheit Studios, mixed by Andrew Schneider (Mutoid Man, Pelican) at Translator Audio, and mastered by Chris Common (Minus the Bear, The Sword).
Album art done by Adam Burke. Layout by Ray Worth of Bask.
