Nile guitarist-vocalist Karl Sanders consecrated a tech-death classic with his bands fourth full-length release. Issued in 2005, Annihilation of the Wicked amped up the projects intense and often quixotic approach to extreme music, thrusting mile-a-millisecond blasts, hellfire guitar riffage and jazz-adjacent shred complexity out of the speakers with reckless abandon. Sanders also continued to explore the darkest elements of Egyptian mythology with his underworld growling. Experience the hypnotic heaviness of Niles Annihilation of the Wicked through this limited-edition Zoetrope double LP pressing, which is housed in a deluxe foil jacket.
