Description
A few years ago Dr. Strange reissued the entire Government Issue catalog on a couple of double CD sets, but now thankfully they’re bringing this stuff back into print on vinyl! A lot of people consider Joyride to be GI’s masterpiece, hence it gets to wax first. While the band’s earliest HC stuff was a bit on the rudimentary side, Joyride found these guys slowing things down a hair and actually writing memorable songs, and this one has some real hits… “Time to Escape,” “Joyride,” “Blending In,” “Hall of Fame…” this is just great, memorable HC. Hopefully their later albums get reissued as well, but in the meantime you should certainly pick up this one!
