Description
Originally released in 1997, Around The Fur is the platinum-certified second studio effort from Grammy-winning Sacramento, CA alternative metal group Deftones. A furious, hard-hitting blast of confrontational sound, the Terry Date-produced 10-track breakthrough expanded upon the success of the group’s major label 1995 debut, Adrenaline and helped put the Deftones at the forefront of the ’90s alternative metal scene. Home to the successful singles “My Own Summer (Shove It)” and “Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away.” The Los Angeles Times noted hat, “Hard rock thrives on conflict and chaos, and no band has found more beauty and soaring aggression within those ingredients than Deftones.”
