Description
Glaswegian in attitude, global in outlook, since the immediate breakthrough of “Take Me Out” the energy of Franz Ferdinand has made people dance. The ambitions of the band have been fulfilled across the world’s stage and in five albums of precision-engineered enjoyment. On Franz Ferdinand’s second album, the five-piece present a selection of richer sounds, exploring new techniques without drawing attention to them. This is pop music at its finest, drawing you in but challenging you at the same time. The 2005 release is home to the singles “Do You Want To,” “The Fallen,” “Walk Away” and “Eleanor Put Your Boots On.”
