Description
“Restraining Order is a modern hardcore band that needs no introduction, having released their music on New Age Records and Triple B Records. Where most of their hardcore contemporaries favor a heavy and metallic sound, The music of Restraining Order calls to mind the blistering punk of bands like Jerrys Kids and SSD. Their latest record Locked In Time, released in 2023, saw the band experimenting with some psychedelic and garage sounds.
The First Four Years Odds & Sods LP compiles various songs from their early days, recorded 2017 – 2021. From rough mix outtakes and demo recordings to tracks only previously released on compilations: this record features Restraining Order at their rawest. Also included are three cover songs, showing some surprising influences. Or perhaps showing a band thats not afraid to have a little fun in between the more urgent hardcore tunes.”
