Description
After taking metal to a new level with their 1992 masterpiece, Vulgar Display of Power, Pantera had one goal in mind for its follow-up: go even heavier. Somehow, they pulled it off. Far Beyond Driven is an even more vulgar display of might, with muscular cuts like “5 Minutes Alone,” “I’m Broken” and “Becoming” impossibly raising the bar. Maybe even more unlikely, Far Beyond Driven debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart and remains arguably the heaviest album to do so.
This Revolver–exclusive marbled white and stronger than blue variant marks one of the rare times the milestone album has been pressed on colored vinyl.
This fan bundle also includes Revolvers new Pantera special collectors issue. The 100-page deluxe magazine tells the story of the bands triumphant and ultimately tragic career through classic interviews with singer Philip Anselmo, guitarist Dimebag Darrell, bassist Rex Brown and drummer Vinnie Paul. Thicker than a standard issue of Revolver, the collectible magazine features a limited-edition Far Beyond Driven-era cover with photography by Joe Giron, embossed type and UV coating.
