Dethklok are the most brutal band on earth, and The Dethalbum is their most essential musical document. The fictional Metalocalypse bands real-life debut collects many of the hilariously heavy songs from Brendon Smalls TV show into full-length form. Standouts like Murmaider, Thunderhorse and Face Fisted are both absurdist and absurdly heavy, and for a time, Dethalbum was the highest-charting death metal record in the genres history until Dethalbum II overtook it. In other words, your metal record collection isnt truly brutal without this.
